Posting Banner Links In Blogger Navigation

Adding a banner link to Blogger is easy. To add a banner link to your navigation area, click "Customize", after signing in. In the navigation area part of your layout, click "Add a Gadget", then add an "HTML/Java Script" gadget. Give your gadget the name you would like to appear over the area (You can leave it blank, if you like.), then insert the following code...

<center><a href="THE URL OF THE TARGET SITE" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="ALTERNATE TEXT OR NOTHING" src="THE URL WHERE YOUR BANNER CAN BE FOUND"/></a><br/></center>

Change the info that's capitalized, the info you put in doesn't have to be capitalized, that's just so you can find it easily. Alternate text is text to be displayed, if there's a problem displaying the image. Your image does not have to be centered, you can have it automatically align left, by leaving <center> and </center> off, to align right, replace center with right.

Click save and you're good to go.

I hope this helps.

Geometric Deeka

Just finished the following tag, using line art from Chalkboard Outlines, via my membership with Swt Harmony Graphics. This tag is available, with your choice of animated or non-animated and one of 10 hair colors. If you would be interested in receiving, the Geometric Deeka tag, contact me at (Be sure to replace "AT" with the @ symbol, or else I won't get your request.). I'll need to know the name you would like on your tag, whether you'd like the animated or non-animated version, and your hair color choice. For instance, to order the preview tag, I would have entered Bambi/animated/#4. (Hair color choices are #1 through 10, with 1 being the first on the left.)  Wings on non-animated version are the light shade of pink, from her skirt, at 50% opacity.  Put "Geometric Deeka Tag", in the subject line, so I'll know what it's about.

A New Look For Fall

Isn't this an awesome layout?  I just got it from Allie Brown's Layouts.  You should check out her site, she does really great work.  I want to learn how to do my own, but, until I do, I'm thrilled there's such great stuff available for use.  Thanks, Allie!
